Never Too Late

This is an act that I never thought I would get to see, because A) I don't recall them ever coming so close to my area, and B) As more time goes by, the chances of that happening just get less and less. So even though it has been about four decades later, I did not hesitate to purchase tickets and I am so very glad I did. Time takes it's toll on all of us, but these guys still have it where it counts. They took longer voice breaks and maybe didn't hold the highest notes for quite as long, but the sound and enthusiasm is still as wonderful. And for a couple of hours, they were a magnificent time machine that took us back to a wonderful era and a very special sound. I am so very glad I made this date and if by some chance I ever get the opportunity to see them again, I will be there.

Expectations were low, they blew the roof off!

If you're on the fence and thinking Air Supply is kinda lame, it's worth going. Air Supply was surprisingly good. Imagine those soft rock love songs but with stronger guitars, bass, and drums - like a ROCK band - with rock show lighting. First few songs blew me away at how powerfully they could be played. So the first 3rd of the show was really good, a bit slower in the middle, some talking/stories, last 3rd was good but a few songs were played at a slower pace than the record. Not sure why they did that. If those were played faster, I probably would've given them 5 stars. But they encouraged people to stand and to sing along for many songs, which most did except for the balcony from what I could see of the balcony. Overall, very entertaining show. The 2 ladies with me really enjoyed the show. FOR THE CREW: Graham's vocals needed to be turned up a bit. Russell's vocals were perfect volume. The crowd lights should be off or less bright to highlight the band more and may help people let loose a little more, but maybe you're trying to show that the crowd is part of the show? Overall sound volume was excellent. Might have been a touch too bassy, but not much. Overall, well done!
